About Me

Ronni Butts is a co-editor-in-chief of Campus Echo, North Carolina Central University's student newspaper. She is a junior political science student with a concentration in civic engagement and public policy with a minor in mass communications.

In 2025, Ronni was a summer politics and metro reporting intern at The Raleigh News & Observer and a member of POLITICO's Summer Journalism Institute. She is also a national member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Ronni aspires to have a career in politics reporting and eventually become a White House correspondent.
