About Me
Ronni Butts is a co-editor-in-chief of Campus Echo, North Carolina Central University's student newspaper. She is a junior political science student with a concentration in civic engagement and public policy with a minor in mass communications.
In 2025, Ronni was a summer politics and metro reporting intern at The Raleigh News & Observer and a member of POLITICO's Summer Journalism Institute. Ronni is a member of the fourth cohort of The New York Times Corps and is a national member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Ronni is looking for career-building opportunities to prepare her for a career as a White House correspondent.
